What Are Token Audits?

Not every token is what it appears to be. Rug pulls, honeypots, and malicious contracts are a constant presence on Solana, and the speed of the market means there often isn't time to manually investigate before an opportunity closes. Token Audits are Trojan's built-in answer to that problem, delivering an automated security assessment for any token directly on the trade page, before you commit.

What the Audit Shows

The Security Audit panel is accessible by hovering over the Audit card or in the dropdown below the swap module on the Trade Page. It provides an at-a-glance score alongside a breakdown of the specific factors behind it.

The metrics covered include bundled and sniped supply with remaining percentages, dev holdings, insider holdings, top ten holder concentration, and dev migrations. These numbers give you a fast read on how a token's supply is distributed and whether the people closest to the contract are behaving in ways that warrant caution.

Below those figures, five contract flags indicate the status of key safety checks: Mint Authority, Freeze Authority, Token Metadata mutability, LP tokens burned, and Update Authority renounced. Each flag reflects a specific contract property that affects how much control developers retain over the token after launch. A clean audit shows all five resolved. Anything unresolved is worth understanding before you trade.

Why It Matters

Speed is an advantage on Solana, but acting fast on a bad token isn't a win. Token Audits let traders move quickly without skipping the checks that matter. Rather than relying on external tools or trusting that a token is legitimate, the audit data is surfaced directly in the terminal at the moment it's needed, as part of the same workflow as the trade itself.
